This wonderful book is the memoirs of 70's gay activist Sven Omann also known as Wanda Liszt.
The book jacket and all chapter headers were hand calligraphised "the wrong way" (not holding the pen correctly, using wrong strokes, etc.) in order to express the opposing spirit of 70's queer activism.
The new publishing house "Wanda" wanted the book to be very cheap & easy to carry around. I had the book printed on demand, printing only 250 books in the first volume, choosing the cheapest and lightest paper. This obstruction became a form factor for the book, so I decided to typeset the book in Bembo Semibold, referencing the popular pulp novels from the 70's, where cheap and unstable printing methods were used.
244 pages.

All calligraphized illustrations were done by hand, and done »The Wrong Way« to reference the opposing nature of the Gay Liberation Front from the 1970’s
